The EAA Young Eagles Program
The EAA Young Eagles program was started in 1992 and is open to young people, ages 8 - 17. Young Eagles provides an opportunity for interested young people to go flying in a general aviation airplane. The introductory flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers.
Participation is easy. An EAA Chapter in your local area will conduct Young Eagles events throughout the year and will publicize the event in local media outlets. You may also visit the National EAA Young Eagles web site and search for a Young Eagles Volunteer Pilot in your local area. From there, arrange a convenient time to go flying.
After your Young Eagles introductory flight, be sure to visit the EAA Young Eagles web site to continue exploring the wonderful world of aviation!
